The Janine Clutch is a petite crossbody clutch purse that lightens the load and appeals to the minimalist. Inside, there are two compartments each big enough for a large cell phone, one zippered coin pocket and 3 vertical card slots. The "No Strap Hardware" method is sleek and easy, or add some sparkle by using hardware to attach the Strap!
This pattern is a quick cut and sew, and perfect for sewing multiples. A full video tutorial was added to the pattern as well as all new photographs, brand new detailed written instructions and all new constructions methods. The pattern consists of all rectangle pattern pieces which are included, as well as a cut chart if you prefer not to print.
Downloading Your Pattern After Purchase:
~Fully download your pattern and “Save As” onto your device. Don’t work from the file if it’s open inside an internet browser window (ex. Chrome, Explorer, Safari, Edge, etc.)
~Find your pattern file on your device and open it in Adobe Reader (Free App).
~You are free to make and sell bags from this pattern on a small scale, no mass manufacturing.

~ Exterior Vinyl/Faux Leather/Cork/Light Leather/Cotton - 1/4yrd (from 54” WOF)
~ Liner Material - 1/4yrd (from 54” WOF)
~ Decovil Light - 1/2yrd (from 17” WOF) OR 1/4yrd (from 35” WOF)
~ Medium Weight Fusible Woven Interfacing like SF101-enough for all cotton materials. For a fully cotton bag:
~ 1/4yrd SF101 (from 60" WOF) OR 3/4yrd SF101 (from 20” WOF)
~ Magnetic Snap - any size up to 19mm is acceptable OR Closure Hardware of your choice
~ #5 Zipper - 1x 8”, plus 1 zipper pull
